Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply when you visit or use letsbelonghere.com (the "Site") or access general resources made available through the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
"Belong," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the mindfulness and community-building initiative operating this Site from Toronto, Ontario. "You" refers to a visitor or user of the Site.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Disclaimer explains important limits on the information and well-being resources we provide. Both form part of these Terms.
The Site and our services
The Site introduces Belong's community circles, workshops, courses, mentoring, organizational services, and educational resources. Information on the Site is general and may change as our offerings develop.
A registration, event, program, mentoring relationship, organizational engagement, or paid service may be governed by a separate agreement, confirmation, cancellation policy, or set of participant terms. If those specific terms conflict with these Terms, the specific terms apply to that service.
Nothing on the Site is an offer that we are required to accept. Availability, eligibility, format, dates, facilitators, location, and pricing may change before a booking is confirmed.
Acceptable use
You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not:
- interfere with the Site, its security, or another person's use of it;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or information;
- introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, or scrape the Site in a harmful way;
- misrepresent your identity or use the Site to deceive, harass, or harm another person; or
- use Site content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights.
We may restrict access to the Site when reasonably necessary to address misuse or security concerns.
Content and ownership
Unless stated otherwise, the Site and its text, graphics, photographs, logos, downloads, design, and other content are owned by or licensed to Belong and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Site and any resource we provide to you for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell, license, remove ownership notices from, or commercially exploit that content without our prior written permission, except where the law permits.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but we will continue to handle any personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to websites or services operated by others. Those links are provided for convenience and do not mean we control or endorse everything on those sites. Third parties are responsible for their own content, availability, security, terms, and privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion.
Availability, warranties, and liability
We work to keep the Site useful, accurate, and available, but information can become outdated and technical interruptions can occur. The Site and its general resources are provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantees that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belong will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its general resources. Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility or right that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
Changes, governing law, and general terms
We may update these Terms as the Site and our services change. The revised Terms take effect when posted here, with the updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate and any applicable service-specific agreement, form the agreement between you and Belong concerning the Site.
